Proact IT Group AB: Proact achieves partner specialisation accreditation for Microsoft Azure VMware Solutions

Proact, Europe's leading independent data centre and cloud services provider has earned the Microsoft Azure VMware Solution specialisation, showcasing expertise in deploying, migrating and operating VMware workloads on Azure cloud infrastructure.

This specialisation recognises Proacts advanced capabilities with both VMware and Azure and have the experience and proven successes in deployment methodology and governance to migrate client's on-premises VMware workloads to run hybrid and natively in Azure.

Azure VMware Solution is a full VMware stack which consists of compute, networking, storage and workload mobility. This runs on top of Azure bare metal dedicated infrastructure, thereby providing benefits of scale and regional diversity along with the native capabilities of Azure. Azure VMware Solutions can be used as a solution to quickly and cost-effectively migrate to the cloud, but also as elastic room for temporary peak utilisation and as a disaster recovery solution.

"With companies across Europe looking to transform and operate their traditional business processes to a modern hybrid cloud platform, our proven experience in migrating and operating on-premises VMware to Azure means our customers will benefit from our long track record in consultancy, support and managed services. As one of an elite set of European partners to achieve this advanced specialisation together with three other previous earned specialisations*, we underline our high level of Azure knowledge and experience", says Per Sedihn, CTO & VP Portfolio & Technology at Proact.
