Lagercrantz has today acquired 86% of the shares in the Finnish company Suomen Diesel Voima Oy (SDV), a leading manufacturer of generator sets for backup power solutions and fire sprinkler pumps in Finland.
Suomen Diesel Voima has comprehensive experience in design, engineering, manufacturing, and service of reliable generator sets and fire sprinkler pump solutions. Generator sets are used to ensure the functionality of critical systems in the event of a power failure or at sites where access to the electric grid is impossible, and fire sprinkler pumps are used in extinguishing systems to ensures the availability of water in case of fire.
Suomen Diesel Voima is based in Tampere with service locations in Helsinki, Oulu and Mikkeli and generates annual revenue of about EUR 8 million with good profitability. For more information about the company, please visit https://www.dieselvoima.fi/en.

SDV will be part of the TecSec Division as of December 2023. The acquisition is expected to generate a small positive effect on Lagercrantz Group's earnings per share on an annual basis.
